Hi Designers!

We need a great new design for our registration page:

http://theperfectdesign.com/register

We'd like the registration page to have 3 steps (those listed on the homepage):

1. Sign Up
Create your account right now.

2. Start a contest
Submit your detailed requirements in a few simple steps, list your prize amount and sit back...

3. Get the perfect design
Watch as tons of graphic designers post their best entries. Interact with the designers and get the design you want. Award a winner!

Please create 3 unique icons (or other graphics) to represent each of the 3 steps and then make a beautiful layout for the registration page that uses the 3 icons/graphics. Please don't copy the icons/graphics from anywhere else. They must be new/unique designs.

Please include the sign up form that is currently on the registration page, but please move the form to fit in with the new layout and graphics that you create. Perhaps the sign up form would go best on the right side of the page? What do you recommend?

Homepage Modifications:

The 3 icons/graphics that you create for the registration page will also be used to replace those on the homepage, so please keep this in mind when you design them (i.e. must have versions that work on light and dark backgrounds).

On the homepage under the 3 steps there is a link that says "Want to Learn more?". When you click on it, a popup window now gives information about the site and how it works. Please create a new design for this popup. On the new design, show the 3 steps with the new icons/graphics you've created. Then show a "Start Now" button. Down lower on the page please include the words/content that exist on the popup now.

Hi all. Just to clarify a few things. We need 2 things designed: 1) the registration page, and 2) the popup on the homepage that shows up when you click "Want to learn more?", and the associated icons. What we need in the designs is an illustration that shows the potential contest holder how the process works. So please create some sore of illustration that explains the process to new contest holders (some of them don't understand the process very well). Perhaps show graphic designers making entries, contest holders rating them and leaving comments, then contest holder selecting winner - awarding prize. You can incorporate the 3 icons you create (to be used on homepage), but you don't have to use the icons everywhere...we just thought this would make the different pages (homepage, popup, registration page) more consistent with each other. Remember, we want the registration page to make it really clear how contests work and how contest holders get great designs from the process. Thanks!

 Hi. Finally I have some time to give some comments. First of all, thanks to podmatrix and VivAso for joining this contest early on. We appreciate your support. Next, I should mention that we like the designs so far #1 - #6, but we need the registration page to have a little more information on it. We want this page to be somewhat of a marketing/information page so that users who see it will understand more why they should be signing up. The main focus here is Contest Holders. So the page shouldn't just be a copy of what's already on the homepage. The graphics that you create for this registration page should match the site colors and the look and feel, and in fact, we'd like to use some version of the graphics you create for the registration page on the homepage. But this registration page should be a nice motivator and explanation to help the potential Contest Holder sign up and start posting contests.
