Prizes for Logo Design Contest

Okay, so here’s the skinny, or fat (it’s a big amount!) on what prizes will be awarded from this contest:
- First Place – $5000
- Second Place – Choice of Adobe CS4 Design Standard Package OR $1400
- Third Place – Choice of Adobe CS4 Web Standard Package OR $900
Repeat: We’ll be giving the 2nd and 3rd place winners a choice between the Adobe CS4 package or the cash prize.
ADDITIONAL EARNING OPPORTUNITY!! If you know someone that is a design freak!, please sign up and refer them to us. If your friend wins first place in the contest, you will receive $500, just for the referral!
Note: you have to be signed up with us to earn the referral fee.

To deside wich can be my inspiration to create a design, I need to Know like for what is the purpose of the design that you want to choose because by that way I can be more precise. if it is for a web page, or if this will be for surf clothes or for any other new invention or for a new store etc. please let me know. If this logo can be any already registered trademark of my own.

Working as a Multimedia faculty as well as marketing executive till now in APOLLO COMPUTER EDUCATION LTD, Valapady , It is a Leading Computer Coaching center in our region for the past 1 years . It has nearly 200 Branches in all over TamilNadu.
PAST EXPERIENCE:-
1.For 1 year worked as a digital flux board designer in Digital graphics.
2.Two years worked as a faculty in TCPS computer Education.
3.Six month worked as a Asst Director in the Film Industry.
NATURE OF WORK:-
Managing the Student Admissions in computer educations as well as marketing field too , Teaching, Analyzing & Ascertaining the ability of the students to Enhance the creativity & make the students to generating new ideas in Designing..
INDIVIDUALITY SKILLS :-
1. According to the skill what I have, completely use it & create some wonderful.
2. Interesting to write Lyrics for songs in Film & Story writer too.
3. Drawing a person or an any object with reality .
4. Grasp everything as fast as possible.
COMPUTER SKILLS:-
Operating System Known : – Dos, Win98, WIN XP Professional,
Software Known : – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, Audition, CorelDraw, Premiere, Flash,HTML.

does all of the design will be viewable starting from the 1st day-last day of contest?
or you will make it private just for you guys? the thing is, if you make all the logo public, theres a possibility to copy some of the great designs by some people whos just depending from other’s great work. i mean copying ideas or enhancing other’s ideas on the contest. that’s annoying.

Thanks for the question.
We know that allowing other designers to see your designs can be annoying…and we acknowledge the fact that some designers copy ideas. However, we believe the benefits of allowing designers to see each others work and our ratings outweighs the risk of designs being copied. We’ll keep a close eye on designs and we’ll be sure to flag users who copy. We expect the designers to help us to. If you see someone copying, please let us know.
