Official Contest Rules Posted!
We’re excited to announce that the Official Contest Rules for ThePerfectDesign.com $5,000 Logo Design Contest have been posted!
The contest rules outline what is expected from participants of the competition as well as the things that the participants can expect from ThePerfectDesign.com. The rules can be found in the forum at http://theperfectdesign.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6.
We will be posting the Contest Requirements (contest brief) in the forum tomorrow evening (July 17) at 11:59 p.m (GMT-06:00, Central Time, U.S. & Canada). This way everyone can get geared up for the competition and start submitting entries from day one (July 22).

But what is the theme of the logo contest? Also, what file formats do you require?
Designing something without a theme seems to be uninspiring.

Thanks for your comment. We realize that everyone is excited to get started with the logo contest. This is going to be AWESOME!
Regarding file formats, theme, colors, and other requirements…we mentioned in the post that we’ll be posting the Contest Brief and requirements on July 17 at 11:59 p.m (GMT-06:00, Central Time, U.S. & Canada). That’s tonight (per our local time). Study the brief closely (after we release it) and be ready to start submitting your logo concepts on July 22 (the contest start date).

I know there is a re-direction but people tend to move away if a link doesn’t work. So why not get to the point. Anyway, i found the logo requirements and I’d say it’s pretty cool. I would love to get my hands on that $5000. I’m thinking I can get a new 32 gig iPhone 3GS, a new netbook and still have a lot of extra cash to put in the bank. So, I will try my very best to win this. Illustrator would be the best app to use on this. Time to let those creative juices flow! Good luck everybody! (rephrase: I don’t think luck would help you on this one. Be creative people!)

Yes, you may submit as many designs and themes you would like. Each submission will need to be entered in a new post within your assigned thread.

hello sir,
one more thing i want to know that is can i submit freehand designs by uploading it on pc.
or its compulsory have taken any softwares like photoshop or illustrator for creating designs.

Contest entries will need to be made in .jpg, .gif, or .png format. We’ll provide more instructions on how to log in and submit contest entries very soon.
If one of your contest entries wins the contest, we’d like the logo delivered in .EPS or .AI format. However, if freehand is all you have, we’ll find a way to get the logo. Don’t worry about that.
