All of those runner ups (outside top 3) are some of my favorites. I made a comment against the people not liking the winner. This happens all the time… working for an agency for years it happens every day. It’s the preference of that particular client… not the creative group. I’ll be ready for another contest, but this time I’ll put in more than an two hours total time. visit my tpd profile check out samples

I enjoyed the contest very much. I only sent one submission, receiving two stars and a little encouragement. Yet, this was not about winning for me. I obviously wanted to do my best, but it was about the process, and the system works. The winning design and tag line were a little simplistic for my taste, but our job was to interpret the brief correctly and produce a visual solution. I may never win against so many talented competitors, but honing my skills is still of great value. Congratulations to us all. Keep the contests coming.

We wish we could say even more about every single designer who competed in the contest. Each designer had their own unique approach and we tried to be open to each effort. If only we had more hours in a day!

As our work moves forward and we start getting clients to post their design contests we’ll be reaching out to all of the designers hoping they’ll participate and be active contributors to our community. Ideally we’d like to know every designer on our site. This is a lofty goal, but we aspire to have such relationships.

Great post… It’s such an insight into what’s happening in the PD team during the choosing process. Recognising the efforts of designers is something that rarely happens now, I am glad PD team recognises all of our efforts to fuel our passion for design.
