- What got you into graphic design? What was your inspiration for going into graphic design?
- Do you do freelance work, or corporate, or both? Do you love your job, and why?
- What’s your favorite part or aspect of graphic design?
- If you had the opportunity to do graphic design work for one event, or individual, what, or who, would it be and why? What other events, or people, have you designed for that are noteworthy, or stand out in your mind?
- What piece of business advice can you give your peers that you learned from experience? How did you learn this?
- Name one individual who has helped shape your graphic design career, and explain how they did this.
- What methods do you use to spark creativity for a project when it seems almost impossible to do so? In other words, how do you get over the writer’s block of design?
- What is it about life, other than design, that you’re passionate about? Please, explain why life is exciting to you.
- To sum up… Where do you see yourself in the future? What is your biggest goal? What would be the ultimate accomplishment for you personally?
I’m from the beautiful country of the Philippines, I grew up here..
At first, I just wanted to express my feelings through drawing, sketching things…just like others who love writing in their diaries. All starts from there, just like doing such a logo, you must know first the details before engaging in building it.
Yes I do freelance work, and I am also employed as a web and graphics developer here in the Philippines. I love this job, because you never stop learning new things everyday.
Favorite aspect would be the finalizing of the design, when you are the first to see the master piece of your work.
I always start from knowing what kind of business, character of person, attitude, and the aim of the individual/company for the business.
Show them what you got. And stand for your work. This is not a job we are talking about, it is the passion.
Its Andrew.. (an adviser)
Cigar and cup of coffee while gazing the horizon of the city; that really helps.
God, I can’t do anything without Him.
I don’t want to dream high. Just a simple and happy life (to be with my daughter). That is all.
Thanks,
Kyle Gaze T. Gallardo
